Brian Connolly

Brian joined EllisDon in 2018 and brings over 20 years of construction experience split between Ireland, England and Canada working on some of Europe’s largest waste water, highway and bridge projects, and Edmonton’s largest Light Rail Transit (“LRT”) project. Throughout his career Brian has worked across multiple contract platforms including Public-Private Partnerships (“PPP”), Design-Build (“DB”), Bid-Build, Construction Management (“CM”), Unit Rate, and Lump-Sum contracts. On large complex transportation projects, Brian utilizes his experiences to bring innovation and value engineering solutions to the project team through all aspects of the lifecycle of the project.

Brian is an enthusiastic, dynamic, and highly experienced professional who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate concisely and effectively with clients, sub-contractors, municipalities and suppliers alike. As a Civil Engineer, Brian combines a strong technical acumen with problem solving and planning capabilities to successfully deliver construction projects. He enjoys leading and being a part of a successful and productive team, and thrives in high pressure environments.
